Good split, I enjoyed it. Acherontas are a strong band, in my opinion. Not the most memorable act, but good sound and consistent. I think Ofermod was the best here.

Bought both albums on vinyl, both great albums and especially Death from the north is an absolute highlight of this year so far. Might even be an album of the year candidate for the black metal genre. And the colored vinyl looks fantastic!

One of the best album, what i have hear from a along time!! Truly a great,wrathfull ,strong dark, black and evil finnish black metal album! I like it wery much! I have listening that many many times ,i have not yet order that album, but i will do that!! Hail nightside!!!

I love that Slayer cover too and it took me years to track down the Less Than Zero soundtrack which it was originally on. I remember watching the movie and it is featured very briefly on a car stereo

Listen to anything you want, anything that gives you emotions and don't care about who's playing, whether they are men or women. I don't listen to Asagraum because they are women but because I like their music.

I love Metallica, I'm totally with you on that.. Granted, there are alot of album's I don't like but in the end, Metallica are great Their first 3 album's are a HUGE part of my childhood plus, some of the best foundational thrash metal of all time... I love Metallica's covers, especially "turn the page" "stone cold crazy" "free speak for the dumb" "green hell" "die die my darling" and definitely "So fk'n what" 😎 I absolutely LOVE Slayer!! Undisputed attitude, phenomenal! Especially "Richard hung himself" "guilty of being white" "I wanna be your dog" and the GBH cover they did (was it sick boy?) which was a bonus track on certain editions of that album.. I fk'n LOVE Turbonegro SO much!!! I'm not surprised at all when I see black metal bands covering them, they are great and share a fan base; Not to mention being from Norway...

Black Doom is really hard to find but the bands that do it properly create awesome atmosphere....

Black doom is rare but what's even rarer is blackened death doom. Soulburn is the only band I know of, that does that.

I get your point but there albums that just should not be touched because of what they represent and the essence of the sound that came out at at moment that they were recorded. Ex: morbid visions and schizophrenia of sepultura being rerecorded by the cavaleras… sorry but thats a big no!

Have seen these guys live on Mystic Festival. I must admit I was impressed by the sounds they create.
